Eric Lau is the founder and president of Englau Group, with strong roots in Mainland China. After graduating from a prestigious law department, he worked for major corporations in Japan, Germany, and Korea, learning their corporate cultures and product control methods. He studied 5S management in Japanese companies, product excellence in German ones, and SPEED management in Korean firms. These experiences helped him launch and grow his abrasives business in 2008.

In 2008, at the start of his abrasives business, he supplied resin-bonded cutting and grinding discs to major purchasing groups in Canada and the United States, achieving $500,000 in annual exports. Solving practical problems deepened his understanding of the grinding industry during this phase.

From 2009 onward, he explored new markets and provided grinding solutions to industrial customers in Europe, North America, South America, Australia, the Middle East, Japan, and South Korea. He now serves over 60 customers in more than 40 countries.

Since 2010, he has gained over 10 years of experience in ceramic-resin bonded cutting and grinding wheels, conducting hundreds of experiments and gathering extensive cutting data. His products have earned customer trust and now compete with international leading brands.

To integrate resources and improve quality, the Englau brand was created, encompassing resin-bonded and vitrified-bonded abrasives, coated and nonwoven abrasives, and wire brushes. Mr. Lau leads the Englau Group in providing complete abrasive products and solutions. The team understands global customer habits and develops robust formulas that continually improve.
